The injection is not used during breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. Zoledronic acid injection may pass into your milk and may harm your baby.
The injection is given by infusion into your vein. Your zoledronic infusion must last at least 15 minutes. Prior to taking it, drink at least two glasses of fluid (such as water) within a few hours as directed by your doctor. You may eat prior to your treatment.
